WorkWell (“we”, “us”) operates workwell.careers, a European job board. We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national laws.

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, or post a job listing. This may include your name, email address, and company information. For employers, we also collect benefit and qualification data (pillar flags) that you self-report during the job posting process.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, send you newsletters and job alerts you have subscribed to, and communicate with you about our services. Employer data is used to display benefit tags and company profiles to job seekers.

We use essential cookies to ensure our website functions properly. We use analytics cookies only with your consent. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating our platform (e.g., Beehiiv for newsletters, Stripe for payment processing, Supabase for database hosting). All service providers are GDPR-compliant.

5. Employer Data & Transparency

Company profiles and reported benefits are publicly visible on our platform. Salary ranges in job listings are displayed to all visitors. Employers consent to this transparency when posting a listing. This aligns with the EU Pay Transparency Directive (2023/970).

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. You may also object to or restrict processing. Contact us at privacy@workwell.careers to exercise these rights. We respond to all requests within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Job listing data is retained for 12 months after expiry. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure.

8. International Transfers

Your data is processed within the EU/EEA. Where service providers process data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
